Christian Dior, or Dior, was founded in 1946 with the aim of revolutionising women's fashion in the wake of WWII. Often cited as the catalyst for Paris' revival as the fashion capital of the world, what started as a couturier has since expanded into ready-to-wear and iconic accessories. One of the #threadscollective's favourite bags, the Lady Dior, was renamed from 'Chouchou' after it had been gifted to, and popularised, by the Princess of Wales Lady Diana in 1995.
